1940

1940  commemoratives are an interesting inclusion in the Morel catalogue and Leon has also commented in his supplement that most items were poorly made and did not fit with the rest of the catalogue.  However he also noted that there was no record of these for such an important event.  Below is a list of the items both listed and unlisted items that I find them rather interesting

 

A few things to note is there was a few scrolls that were added to other items these scrolls as shown on 1940/19 , 20 and the commemorative spoons also pictured below.

A number of versions for this Kiwi brooch with New Zealand in red enamel with N.Z. Centenary in black enamel but so far we have not been able to purchase or take photos of them
